Have you listened to the first episode with Karl Stern as a guest? Did you listen to the first ten or so minutes of it? Take a listen before you moan some more.
Yes, Bryan and Dave cover MMA, but if you don't like it, either don't listen to those shows or quit subscribing!
Seriously, you have time to ramble on about all of that UFC crap and you can't do one of these shows? Maybe I'm crazy, but paying for a subscription for some site called "Figure Four Daily" and listening to "Wrestling Observer" you'd think that the shows would focus on, umm... WRESTLING. And yeah, the shows with Stern are ok, but the hilight was the guests... stop making excuses... we pay you and you use the money to pay for trips to train with MMA guys and such... then you whine that your job is hard... right, try getting a real one buddy and you'll see what hard work is.
I've been listening to the back catalogue of After Dark and I'm about to come up to the November 11th show and I've seen that it is the last one!! Hope it will come back from hiatus soon.
Isn't the every other week podcast with Bryan and Karl Stern good? Yes, it isn't After Dark, but they still cover After Dark issues.
Here's my suggestion to everyone, if you guys want this to be a regular fixture, why not start a on-line petition to get this show as a regular line-up for a paid subscription?
It sucks that Bryan hasn't had the time for the show in a long time but the first episode he did with Karl Stern as the guest, he said that this is a hobby of his and he does it out of love for us, his fans. He isn't charging us for it so we should be happy when he does get a chance to do a show.
We probably won't get a show until after WrestleMania anyway. It always seems like he and Dave Meltzer are busy from Thanksgiving to WrestleMania. If we all want more Afterdark shows, we should pay more for our subscription at F4W~! site for Bryan can hire someone to help out for he can dedicate more time for this site. I don't wanna pay more just for a free show.
